Embark on a diverse adventure that combines the lush greenery of the Atlas with the golden sands of the coast on our Paradise Valley & Sahara Dunes Guided Day Trip. Your journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Agadir, followed by a scenic drive toward the High Atlas Mountains. We’ll pass through the historic harbor of Agadir and enjoy a coastal breeze before stopping to explore a serene botanical garden and an authentic Argan cooperative.
As we climb higher, we make several dedicated stops to capture the majestic mountain views and the lush oasis of palm trees that define the region. Upon arriving at Paradise Valley, a light 20-minute hike leads you into the heart of this hidden gem. You’ll have plenty of free time to explore further, take a refreshing dip in the natural pools, or simply relax by the water with a fresh orange juice in hand.
After your time in the valley, we head to the village of Tamri for a truly authentic experience. A local family will welcome us into their home, where a delicious, homemade Tagine lunch—prepared with traditional love and care—awaits us. It’s a perfect moment to experience true Moroccan hospitality and flavors.
The final chapter of our adventure takes us to the Massive Sand Dunes (Small Sahara). Here, the desert meets the sea. You will have free time to "heal your soul" as you wander the towering dunes, take in the panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, and feel the tranquility of this unique landscape. After a day of mountain hikes and desert walks, we begin our return journey, arriving back in Agadir around 4:30 PM.
Morning Departure & Coastal Views
We begin with a convenient pick-up from your hotel. As we leave Agadir, we drive past the vibrant harbor and follow the Atlantic coastline before turning into the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains.
Botanical Garden & Argan stop
First, we stop at a serene botanical garden and a local Argan cooperative. Learn how the world-famous "Liquid Gold" is extracted and explore the native plants of the Souss-Massa region.
Hike into Paradise Valley
Arrive at the valley entrance for a scenic 20-minute hike. Reach the heart of Paradise Valley, where you can swim in natural rock pools, relax by the oasis, or enjoy a fresh orange juice in nature.
Homemade Lunch in Tamri
We head to the village of Tamri to be welcomed into a local family home. Enjoy a very tasty, authentic homemade Tagine lunch, prepared with fresh local ingredients and traditional spices.
Small Sahara & Atlantic Dunes
Visit the massive sand dunes where the desert meets the ocean. Enjoy free time for panoramic photos, a peaceful walk on the dunes, or the optional thrill of sand-boarding down the golden slopes.
Return to Agadir
After a full day of diverse landscapes, we begin our return drive. We'll arrive back at your hotel or apartment at approximately 4:30 PM, just in time to enjoy the late afternoon.
